Catskills Kitchen Renovation

For the kitchen renovation in this home in Hobart, NY, Whritner Builders sought to strike a balance between an old-world  feel and and something more modern. John used Craft-Maid cabinetry from Reading, PA; a Blue Star commercial range; travertine tile flooring; soapstone for the sink and surrounding countertops; and a walnut countertop for the island. The fireplace mantel was custom-made by a local cabinet maker. The space abounds with thoughtful touches — take a close look!
